For this year’s Volunteers’ Week (1-7 June) Tempo is giving you the chance to tell us why someone you know is a community hero!
Volunteers’ Week is hosted annually by the National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO) and this year the focus is on celebrating and saying thank you for the fantastic contribution that millions of volunteers make every day. It’s a chance for charities across the UK to thank their volunteers for their valuable time and dedication.
Through our Time Credits programmes, we connect with hundreds of organisations to recognise volunteers with Time Credits – and we know that the success of a community project or event often comes down to the particular contributions of dedicated and talented individuals.
Who do you know that went the extra mile or gave their all to a cause in your community? To mark Volunteers’ Week, Tempo is giving you the chance to nominate someone as a hero in your community.
We’ll be celebrating your responses in an online hall of fame during Volunteers’ Week. Not only that, but we’ll be giving £30 in supermarket vouchers to two of the most creative and compelling responses!
You have until 5pm on Wednesday 5th June 2019 to submit your nominations.
