Achieve your personal best with Time Credits

To chime with the launch of our Sport England programme in Blackpool, we’ve asked our partnership managers to share their pick of sports and fitness offers from across the Time Credits Network. So, whether you’re a veteran sports spectator or looking for activities to get the whole family moving, browse our round-up for new and different sporty ways to spend Time Credits.

Go Air Trampoline Park is the latest partner to join the South Wales Time Credit Network and we’re thrilled to have them onboard. For one Time Credit per person, you can jump for the skies and perfect your front drop at one of their ‘open jump’ sessions (suitable for ages 6+) or take the little ones to ‘Air Tots’ (for ages 5 and under.) Check the brochure for all restrictions.

Children can let off steam at a ‘Pebbles’ soft play session, available in exchange for one Time Credit at Boulders in Cardiff. Adults in turn can try out climbing in a ‘Give it a go’ session. Both soft play and climbing must be booked in advance!

Our most southerly leisure spend partner is the fantastic Penzance leisure centre in Cornwall, where you can now exchange Time Credits for gym sessions, swimming as well as hire of badminton/table tennis equipment and facilities.

Lord’s Cricket Ground is one of the most prestigious cricket venues in the world. Dubbed by many as the ‘home of cricket’, Lord’s celebrated its two hundredth anniversary in 2014. Get a feel for the game by going along to a Middlesex County match. For five Time Credits, you can purchase a ticket on the gate on the day, available on a first come, first served basis.

Take your yoga practice to the next level with a Fierce Grace Hot Yoga class. Two Time Credits gives you entry to a 90 minute session in West London.

Enrol at the Samurai Shotokan Karate School in King’s Lynn and learn the theory and training that underpins the martial art of Shotokan Karate. For four Time Credits, you can sign up to the first four sessions of a class.

Alongside the many leisure and sports centres that accept Time Credits in Lancashire, we have some brilliant offers that develop teamwork and physical fitness skills for little (and older) ones.

Children are supportively coached and shown how to catch, pass, kick and play as a team as part of a Rugby Tots programme. Sessions are held at various locations across South Preston and Chorley, but places are limited, so contact the organisers first.

At Do Fitness, in Leyland, Lancs, you can reverse the negative effects of desk-working related aches and strains by trying chair pilates. For those returning to exercise, give starter circuits a try – a gentle introduction to working out over a course of exercise stations. Contact instructor Diane before your first class.
