We are delighted to report that since 2015, fifty thousand Time Credits have been spent at our brilliant partners across the East of England. Top spending attractions for Time Credits include the GLL Leisure Centres, Strikes Bowling and the Cambridge Corn exchange. Likewise, the Light Cinema Experience has supported our programmes for many years with their cinemas in Wisbech and Cambridge. They are a huge part of this achievement accepting over 22,000 Time Credits in the last 3 years alone.
‘It has been amazing to see the development of our Time Credit programmes in the East of England since our first programme launched in 2012. We are looking forward to the next chapter in the region with Peterborough Time Credits coming soon, enabling more people to access the wide array of activities across our network.”- Will Dela Cruz, Regional Manager
Impact of spending Time Credits
Spending Time Credits can have a huge impact on the lives of many in the community. Our network of over 100 spend partners in the East of England enables people to spend quality time with friends or family, make new connections locally, develop new interests or resume forgotten hobbies. This is fundamental to achieving positive outcomes for individuals, services, spend partners and communities. (Read more about the impact of spending Time Credits).
Rebecca is a gardening volunteer who used her Time Credits to treat her friend to a live classical concert at the Corn Exchange this summer.
“The staff in the box office were great – I thought we might have restricted view tickets at the back but we were given ones on the front row – all for free. Having Time Credits to spend encourages us to leave the sofa and get out and try something new.”
