Partnerships Manager: North West & Central England and North Wales

Salary: £27,000 – £30,000 (pro rata’d)

Tempo works to enable more people to volunteer in their communities, because giving your time and feeling valued improves health, happiness and prospects. We do this with Time Credits, one of the world’s largest time-based community currencies. People earn Time Credits when they give their time and spend them on a wide range of activities they choose. Over 56,000 people have earned over 900,000 Time Credits so far, and we partner with over 1500 community organisations, public services and businesses.

Tempo are on a 5-year journey to becoming a nationwide organisation, enabling people from any community to get involved in earning Time Credits and accessing new opportunities. By 2023, we aim to have reached 250,000 people across England and Wales and see 2.5m Time Credits earned and spent.

About You

We are looking for a key individual to join us on our journey and grow our impact and reach in the North West & Central England and North Wales regions. You will scope, identify, recruit and support partners across the region, where members can spend time credits they have earned volunteering as part of a number of different projects.
We work with SMEs, national chains, community organisations and everyone in between. You will be able to adapt your communication style (both verbal and written) and have excellent presentation and influencing skills. You will be well organised and able to work on your own initiative and be accustomed to monitoring and reporting on your work. This role will we require regular travel across the regions.

We have successful Partnerships Managers in our Tempo team from a variety of backgrounds. We’re more interested in your skills and passion than in your career path to date so please don’t let a lack of experience in any sector deter you from applying. You are inspiring and driven, can combine good public and corporate relationship building with enthusiasm, strategic thinking and excellent networking and persuasion skills. You are a self-starter, who can inspire commitment, secure partnerships and close agreements, while being driven by the need to improve communities.
